About Khalida Sae

Sae Kani, also known as Kalida, has a rich and diverse background in international development, trauma care, and somatic psychology.
At the age of 18, she began her academic journey at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, where she earned both a bachelor's and master's degree in International Development, specializing in disaster education in developing countries. For 13 years, she worked across various disaster-affected regions in Asia.
In 2011, following the Great East Japan Earthquake, she returned to Japan to support recovery efforts in the Tohoku region. She discovered TRE® in 2012 and became a certified provider in 2013. After the 2015 Nepal Earthquake, she spent a year in Nepal, offering trauma care and conducting TRE® training for local therapists.
In 2014, she obtained her Integral Coaching certification, accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She integrates TRE® and somatic psychology into her coaching and counseling work, helping clients deepen their self-awareness and presence. She also regularly facilitates meditation and inner work retreats, guiding individuals in exploring the question, "Who am I?"
In 2016, she became the representative of TRE for ALL Japan (TFA Japan). As an internationally certified TRE® trainer, she currently conducts workshops in five Asian countries and works with clients across Europe, North America, and South America.
In 2023, she completed the Tantralife Professional Training in Italy, further refining her expertise in sexuality and partnership work.
Sae spends eight months of the year traveling the world to lead workshops and retreats. When in Japan, she resides in Yamanakako Village, Yamanashi Prefecture.
